You have found the entry in the index. What to do now?
Most entries contain additional information. This often includes addresses in the UK and at the destination, the service number of the husband, names and details of children and the name of the next of kin who was to be responsible for the bride when she arrived. Sometimes the additional information may include whether the woman was pregnant, the type of cabin berth for herself and the children, and whether the woman was originally booked to sail on a different ship - something of which even she may not have been aware.
In order to obtain the additional information you may purchase any one of the following options.
1. £15 A transcription (typewritten extract) of the entire entry.
2. £20 A transcription (typewritten extract) of the whole section or page (depending on the format of the list). This may include up to twelve other names and all their details.
3. £25 A transcription (typewritten extract) of the group, comprising about 100 names of women and their children. Please note that this option is only applicable to GI Brides, as this was a feature of the way in which the American clerks listed the women and children.
4. £40
